The High Holidays—and then some—are upon us! The season kicks off September 13 with Rosh Hashanah, but there’s so much more in the coming weeks. Quick, add these dates to your calendar to stay in the know:
- Rosh Hashanah
The Jewish new year lands the evening of 9/13 through 9/15
- Yom Kippur
The Day of Atonement begins at sundown on 9/22 and is observed 9/23
The Feast of Booths (lulavs for everyone!) begins at sundown 9/27 and goes through 9/29
- Shemini Atzeret
The Eighth Day of Assembly takes place 10/5
- Simchat Torah
The day we celebrate the Torah occurs on 10/6
