Last May, 35 women traveled to Israel on a Women’s Philanthropy mission. During this extraordinary journey, they met with a member of the Knesset, a judge, a CEO, a journalist, a rocket scientist, and female IDF soldiers.

The women also saw, firsthand, the impact of CJP’s work in Boston's sister city, Haifa. They delivered baby blankets — made by the women of Boston — to Parents at the Center, where Muslim, Christian, and Jewish parents learn parenting skills and develop support networks. The women cried and danced with Ethiopian refugees who are part of the Shiluvim (“integration”) program.

The CJP delegation also met young professional women who have found support in the She.E.O. program and young Haredi women who have joined the workforce through the Tevet/Chen program.
